Athletics Practice Day 2021
Manawatu Home Educators Athletics Day 2021 is set for Wednesday 10th March at Lincoln Park, Ashhurst.
On Athletics Day there will be no practices so we offer a Practice Day to give children a chance to have a look and see the field equipment (shot put, discus, high jump and long jump) before the actual day.
The Athletics Practice Day is on the Wednesday 3rd March.
Athletics Practice Day is suited to 7 years and older as we only practice Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump and High Jump. Younger children are, of course, welcome with the rest of their family but we will not be specifically catering for them at Practice Day.
You may want to have a picnic lunch out there on this day. Don’t forget your sunhat and sunscreen!!
PAYMENT:
The cost of running Athletics Practice Day is $1 per child.
Cash will be accepted for this on the day.

Practice Day Registrations: All Practice Day registrations are due to Tania Bretz by Friday 26th February.
PLEASE NOTE: We need a minimum of 45 children to hold this Practice day.
Shields from 2020: If you have any of the shields from last year’s Athletics Day please bring it along on Practice Day.
Remember: if you are not a current member of MHE (ie have not paid your subs and activated your membership online THIS year), please do so ASAP.
This event is open to both MHE members and non-MHE member. Families who are not members of MHE are asked to pay an additional $10 per family if they decide to enter the actual Athletics Day.
